As a professional makeup artists, having high-quality makeup products is especially important to have in my kit. This is especially true when certain products can stand the test of time when makeup trends come and go like the winds.
Here are some of my favorite makeup products of 2022 that are especially important to have in my kit.
Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel, #77
This gel eyeliner in the shade #77 is my absolute favorite eyeliner. Not only is it very black and pigment, but it is also very long-lasting. The formula goes on very smoothly and it does not move once it is set. If my eyeliner dries out, I just apply one drop of Inglot Duraline mixing liquid and it will be good as new! This is a staple in my makeup kit, especially for special occasions.
You can buy the Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel here at Camera Ready Cosmetics for $22.
L'Oréal Voluminous Lash Primer
This lash primer is really great for conditioning lashes, as well as amplifying and enhancing mascara. This is especially useful for my naturally long lashes so that my mascara can stand out. I love to pair this with one of my favorite mascaras, the L'Oréal Voluminous Original Mascara.
You can buy the L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Primer at Ulta for $10.99. Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, etc. also sell the lash primer at around the same price.
Sephora Collection Cream Stain Liquid Lipstick
These liquid lipsticks from Sephora are my absolute favorite. Not only do they provide a wide variety of shades, but they are also long-lasting and you do not have to worry about reapplying. My favorite shades include #01 (Always Red) and #25 (Coral Sunset).
You can buy the Sephora Collection Cream Stain Liquid Lipstick at Sephora for $15.
Ben Nye Neutral Set Colorless Face Powder
This setting powder works wonders! It's not only finely milled and translucent, but it does not affect the color of my makeup. Plus, it makes my makeup last longer and it looks like my makeup is still freshly applied after several hours (with the help of my setting spray).
You can buy the Ben Nye Neutral Set Colorless Face Powder at Camera Ready Cosmetics for $12 (1.5-ounce shaker).
Skindinavia Bridal Makeup Finish Spray
This is my go-to setting spray for my makeup kit. It keeps my makeup looking fresh and long-lasting for any occasion, not just for weddings and brides! Plus, it prevents my makeup from smudging and transferring when I am sweating or in hot weather. Here's a tip: apply your setting spray first before putting on mascara to prevent your eyelashes from smudging your beautiful eye makeup.
You can but the Skindinavia Bridal Makeup Finish Spray at Camera Ready Cosmetics for $29 (4-ounce spray bottle).
