I have a strong passion for journalism, especially writing, editing and covering news stories. I am also an ardent supporter for ethical journalism and the First Amendment.

 

My strongest points include my unbiased writing, a keen eye for the English grammar, proofreading, and editing.

I am Guatemalan-American and bilingual. I also have an intermediate proficiency in French. Hopefully in the future, I will learn to speak more languages to further strengthen my journalism career.

 

I am a Guatemala-based journalist and writer. I like to stay updated with the news on a daily basis as a way to continue learning and improving my writing, editing and journalistic skills.

 

My personality is described as hard-working, serious, calm and being good around people. I am very meticulous in my work and I pay attention to the big and small details so that I do not lose any important information.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have always had a passion for music, especially classical music. Since 2009, I have played the viola, which is my favorite instrument. I also have experience doing solo performances and performing in orchestras, including the SHSU Symphony Orchestra and the juvenile orchestra at the municipality of Guatemala City.

 

When I am not pursuing my musical and journalistic endeavors, I enjoy playing with makeup, watching movies on Netflix, working out and baking desserts.
